The Unscheduled Day That Got Scheduled Real Quick
Woke Up at 4 A.M. ā But Slept Like a Literal Boulderā
Apparently, my body said, āThatās enough of that unconscious nonsense, letās rise and overthink everything while itās still pitch black.ā
But hey ā for once, I didnāt toss, turn, or karate-kick my sheets into oblivion.
Solid 8 hours. Zero drama. Just vibes.
The kind of sleep where you blink and suddenly itās morning.
Not mad about it⦠just mildly offended by the sun not even being up yet.
You know those days where nothing is technically on the calendar, but life goes, āLOL, cuteā? Thatās me today.
No classes. No finals. No official āto-dos.āJust me⦠and a furniture delivery window so vague it feels like a dare. Somewhere between ā8 a.m. and whenever the universe feels like it.ā
And of course, because I am me, the BP life doesnāt just hit pause. Nope. Iāve decided to embrace a little chaos and personality downstairs (playful BP lives here now), and upstairs? Thatās reserved for my serious self. The one who writes finals, reflects on life, and considers why she owns so many coffee mugs.
Meanwhile, my dogs? Oh, theyāre living their best lives in their own bedroom. Yes, THEIR bedroom. Complete with a āSafeā picture on the blog wall like theyāre tiny VIPs in a doggie Airbnb. Itās their sanctuary while I clean, errand, or just need a break from Clyde judging my interior design choices.

š Semester Status: Wrapped.
Spring semester has officially ended! Three classes. One final project that spiraled intoā¦well, this entire site.
MC101 (Intro to Media Studies): 80 on the final (we donāt talk about it).
WES-300 (Seven Deadly Sins): A- because apparently pride isnāt a sin if itās over a good grade.
MC201 (Writing for Mass Media): Still waiting, but fingers crossed. This class started it all. Who knew a project could become a passion?
What I didnāt expect this semester was how attached Iād get to a few professors. They were witty, warm, slightly sarcastic (my love language), and always there to hand out a reality check⦠or an encouraging word. Kind of like this blog. Or a favorite sweatshirt you donāt remember buying but refuse to throw out.
š§ So What Now?
Now that finals are done, I guess it's time for the ultimate test: figuring out what to do with my free time. (Spoiler: paint, walk the dogs, and pretend I donāt have three baskets of laundry to fold.)
