šŸ›‹ļø Wednesdays Are for… Furniture Delivery?

The Unscheduled Day That Got Scheduled Real Quick

Woke Up at 4 A.M. — But Slept Like a Literal Boulderā€

Apparently, my body said, ā€œThat’s enough of that unconscious nonsense, let’s rise and overthink everything while it’s still pitch black.ā€

But hey — for once, I didn’t toss, turn, or karate-kick my sheets into oblivion.

Solid 8 hours. Zero drama. Just vibes.

The kind of sleep where you blink and suddenly it’s morning.

Not mad about it… just mildly offended by the sun not even being up yet.

You know those days where nothing is technically on the calendar, but life goes, ā€œLOL, cuteā€? That’s me today.

No classes. No finals. No official ā€œto-dos.ā€Just me… and a furniture delivery window so vague it feels like a dare. Somewhere between ā€œ8 a.m. and whenever the universe feels like it.ā€

And of course, because I am me, the BP life doesn’t just hit pause. Nope. I’ve decided to embrace a little chaos and personality downstairs (playful BP lives here now), and upstairs? That’s reserved for my serious self. The one who writes finals, reflects on life, and considers why she owns so many coffee mugs.

Meanwhile, my dogs? Oh, they’re living their best lives in their own bedroom. Yes, THEIR bedroom. Complete with a ā€œSafeā€ picture on the blog wall like they’re tiny VIPs in a doggie Airbnb. It’s their sanctuary while I clean, errand, or just need a break from Clyde judging my interior design choices.

šŸŽ“ Semester Status: Wrapped.

Spring semester has officially ended! Three classes. One final project that spiraled into…well, this entire site.

  • MC101 (Intro to Media Studies): 80 on the final (we don’t talk about it).

  • WES-300 (Seven Deadly Sins): A- because apparently pride isn’t a sin if it’s over a good grade.

  • MC201 (Writing for Mass Media): Still waiting, but fingers crossed. This class started it all. Who knew a project could become a passion?

What I didn’t expect this semester was how attached I’d get to a few professors. They were witty, warm, slightly sarcastic (my love language), and always there to hand out a reality check… or an encouraging word. Kind of like this blog. Or a favorite sweatshirt you don’t remember buying but refuse to throw out.

🧠 So What Now?

Now that finals are done, I guess it's time for the ultimate test: figuring out what to do with my free time. (Spoiler: paint, walk the dogs, and pretend I don’t have three baskets of laundry to fold.)
