Thursday Thoughts: Bills, Boxes, and Boundaries

Okay okay—yes, I know it’s Thursday, but hear me out. Tomorrow’s post is still coming, but I had a little extra something on my chest today that couldn’t wait. So consider this your bonus blog—early bird edition, served with sleep deprivation and a side of clarity. 🐦☕️

Today’s highlight reel:

✔️ Worked 5.5 hours at STS

✔️ Paid some bills (yay responsibility)

✔️ UPS & post office mission: complete

✔️ And—this one’s key—I reminded someone to be kind.

Customer Service 101:

If you hate your job, leave.

No, really. If it’s killing your vibe and everyone else’s, go find something that doesn’t make you (or me) miserable.

Now don’t get it twisted—this wasn’t anyone I work with. Just a vendor rep who decided to share their bad mood with the room. And it made me think…

Why do people stay stuck in places that make them unhappy?

Jobs, relationships, friend groups—they keep hanging on even when the expiration date has passed.

Is it money?

Fear?

Comfort in the chaos?

Don’t get me wrong—some days are just rough. We all have ’em. But choosing to stay miserable long-term? That’s a decision, not a sentence.

I’m grateful for every messy chapter I’ve been through. Really, I am. But only once did I stick around longer than I should’ve (cue that one marriage 🥴). Even that taught me something:

Peace is priceless.

You don’t have to settle. You don’t have to stay.

You’re not stuck unless you choose to be.

💭 What’s one thing you left behind that made your life better?

Let’s normalize choosing joy over just “getting by.”

Drop it in the comments or DM me—I’m always here for a real talk moment. 💬✨

And don’t worry—Friday’s post is still dropping like hot tea tomorrow, so stay tuned. 😉
