Sunday Scaries, Soft Starts & Porch Conversations

Well... the Vet Tix Halsey concert tickets?

I did not win. Tragic. I already had my outfit planned, playlist on repeat, glitter emotionally prepped. And now? I’m left here… ticketless, dramatic, and playing “Without Me” on loop like it’s 2018 heartbreak season. 💔🎤

But the day wasn’t a total loss—far from it, actually.

Jared came by and helped me put the couches together correctly.

And now?THE COUCHES ARE COUCHING.Like, full luxury lounge status. They’re assembled. Fluffed. Positioned. Tested. Approved. We’re talking ultimate Netflix and do-nothing level comfort.

Oh, and it doesn’t stop there.

The garage now has its own hangout zone—yes, ma’am. We’re talking a little chill corner for when inside feels too inside. Plus...

The back deck now has a FIREPIT.Yes, an actual firepit. Outdoor vibes are officially unmatched. Between the cozy couch inside, the garage lounge, and the deck giving full glamp-core energy... needless to say, you’re going to have to come see it for yourself.

Actually, scratch that. I’m not leaving. Ever. This house is the vibe now. I’ve nested. I’m staying. Claiming squatters’ rights in my own home.

That friend I mentioned? He ended up coming over after all. And let me tell you... sometimes you don’t need a concert or a crowded venue to have a good time. We just chilled on the back porch, talking for hours. Real conversations. The kind where time slows down and everything feels easy. We laughed, swapped stories, talked about life, dreams, and the kind of stuff you forget you need to say out loud until someone makes space for it.

Oh—and before he left?Yep. A kiss goodbye. 😏Soft. Sweet. Subtle. The kind that leaves you replaying the whole evening in your head and wondering if porch lights have always been this romantic.

Now back to reality...

School has officially started, and your girl is scrambling. This online system? I swear it was built to confuse me. Between login drama, Google Drive gymnastics, and trying not to email my professor from the wrong account for the fourth time… it’s been a ride. Two online classes, one internship, one part-time job, one volunteer group—and a life? Bold of me to think I could juggle all this and still remember to eat three meals a day.

But hey, we’re here. We showed up. And that counts.

Sunday Takeaway:Sometimes, the best plans are the ones that never leave your porch. And even when you lose a concert, you might just gain something better.

PS: Anyone else winging it through summer semester with more vibes than structure? Send help. Or coffee. Or both. ☕💻💋

  • So… what is Brittany’s Click & Tell?
t’s where storytelling meets snapshots. Think of it as the digital crossroads of media magic, heartfelt narratives, and creative strategy. Whether it's blog musings, brand consulting, or curated content creation—this is where Brittany clicks, and the story tells itself.
  • Do you offer photography services?
I specialize in media and storytelling, not full-service photography (yet!). But I do curate visuals, help plan shoots, and collaborate with photographers for cohesive content. Need a visual storyteller with a plan? I’m your girl.
  • Can I hire you for branding or social media help?
Absolutely. From snappy captions to strategic content calendars, I help brands (and badass individuals) find their voice and vibe. Think less “cookie-cutter” and more “custom-crafted with sass and strategy.”
  • How do you balance dogs, blogs, and branding?
With coffee, chaos, and three clingy coworkers—Clyde, Piper, and Ollie. They don’t type, but they do bark out ideas. Literally.
  • What’s the story behind the name?
It’s a play on what I do: I click (as in photos + keyboards) and I tell (stories, strategies, and occasionally my dogs to get off the couch). It’s quirky, like me—but it works.
  • Do you collaborate with other creatives?
Yes! Designers, photographers, writers, you name it—if you're into co-creating magic and not into micromanaging, let’s talk.
  • How do I contact you?
Head over to the [Contact] page or shoot a message via email or socials. Carrier pigeons welcome but may be delayed.
  • Is your content pet-approved?
100%. Every post is sniffed, pawed, and occasionally drooled on by the team. No boring content gets past Clyde’s stare.
