📝 A Little Note Before We Dive In
If you’ve been following along, you might notice things will look a little different around here. That’s because I’ve been playing with new formats—less “dear diary” and more “dear chaos, let’s vibe.”
Through all the drafts, detours, and dog interruptions, I’ve realized that writing like me—raw, witty, a little all-over-the-place—is where I feel most at home. So, welcome to the new and improved vibe of Brittany’s Click & Tell: real stories, mental health moments, and enough sass to season your whole week.
🎬 What Went DownMonday started with errands for mom—classic me in my “good daughter” era. I dropped off an iPad and snagged an Amazon return like the modern courier I am. With traffic being, well, trash and the tunnel shut down, I took it as a sign from the universe: beach detour!
Clyde and I hit up Buckroe Beach, but not before grabbing a white mocha iced latte with raspberry from Buckroe Coffee Co. (Highly recommend if your taste buds like happiness.)We tried longboarding... and by tried, I mean we looked like a pair of baby giraffes trying to walk on ice. The bike might’ve been the move.
🧠 Thought BubbleAs someone navigating Chronic/Severe Depression Disorder—and a suitcase full of past traumas—I’ve learned that nature is one of the few things that can cut through the fog. Yesterday was one of those picture-perfect days that deservedto be enjoyed outside.
I’ve stopped waiting for the “perfect mood” to show up before I go out—I go out so I can shift the mood. Nature doesn’t fix everything, but sometimes, it resets enough. So now I ask you: What’s your healthy outlet when your mind is loud and the world feels too much? Drop it in the comments. Let’s swap survival tactics.
🛠️ Brittany’s Fix/Find/FeatureDiscovered: AripiprazoleSide effect? Chill. Might rename it my Anti-Britt-pill.
Taking it in the morning has made a huge difference in my day-to-day vibe (when I don’t accidentally take it at night out of habit—oops). It’s prescribed for a range of things, but for me? The irritability and spirals have finally met their match.
Are you medicated? No shame in the brain game. Whether it’s pills, paint, puppies, or prayer—we all need something that helps us be.
🔥 Stay Tuned🚨 Incoming life update alert! I’ve got the itch again...house shopping is officially in progress.Yes, I actually enjoy moving and decorating new spaces—what can I say, rearranging chaos is my love language. But this time? We're downsizing.
Currently in a four-bedroom house (for me and my three dogs—overachiever much?) and aiming to cut that in half. Because let’s be real: it's just us, and let’s not act like the Navy can’t cover the bill. 💁♀️ #UseYourBenefits
💬 Let’s TalkTell me two things in the comments:
What’s your go-to fix for a bad mental health day?
If you had to downsize, what’s one thing you could never part with? (Besides the pets. Obviously.)
Let’s chat—because this blog is basically a group therapy session with sass and caffeine. ☕💬
